The Honda City will get a face-lift following a price cut as Honda tries to regain the City's position of being India's leading mid-level sedan. The Honda City's sales have dipped sharply in the recent months. Increasing petrol prices, the unavailability of a diesel engine and much improved competition from the Volkswagen Vento and Hyundai Verna have dented the City's sales.
