Tata Autocomp Systems, the auto-parts maker which is a part of the $68 billion diversified Tata group, plans to raise around Rs 1,100 crore ($245 million) through an initial share sale. RS Thakur, managing director and chief executive said that the offer includes a fresh issue of shares to increase up to Rs 750 crore and that will be used to cut debt and expand capacity. Existing shareholders Tata Motors, Tata Sons, Tata Industries and Tata Capital and Tata Investment Corp will together sell up to 35.6 million shares.
